Public Event Calendar

This is a public calendar.  Anyone can view it, but only authorized users can post to it. The Communications Committee will manage this calendar. These are ALL events that need registration OR are completely open to the public.

To publish an event for this calendar, please fill out an event information sheet.

Board and Committee Calendar

This is a public calendar.  Anyone can view it, but only authorized users can post to it.  All Board and Committee members are encouraged to maintain a Google account to create events on the calendar, updated shared documents, and to utilize efficient scheduling functions offered by Google applications.  The NAWBO Administrator will manage the committee members who have access to this calendar.

To gain editing access to this calendar, contact the NAWBO Administrator and be sure to include the e-mail address associated with your Google Calendar account. If you do not have a Google account, sign up here.

Please put all of your committee meetings and deadlines on this calendar. With Google Calendars, you can do all of the following:

• Create an event.
• Assign tasks.
• Attach the agenda.
• Automatically generate a map link when the location is entered.
• Add reminders that will automatically go out at times of your choosing.
• Invite each of the members who should attend.
• Manage attendance using the “invite others” and through confirmed invitations.

• Website listings
• E-Blast via email once each week
• Social media
• News recap via table newsletters at monthly luncheons
• Advertising

ALL communications with members and prospects on behalf of any of the NAWBO Committees, Board Members, or staff is to be approved and/or managed by the Communications Committee for consistent message, brand identity, and budgeting.

Submitting an Event

An information sheet must be fully completed and submitted to the communications committee at least 90 days before any event.

It is specifically from these documents that the Communications Committee will form all marketing and communications for the event, and so it is imperative that all sections are accurately and completely answered. Please do not write in the answers by hand!

Please submit the completed document to communications@nawbocolumbusohio.com and programming@nawbocolumbusohio.com.

Event Promotion Policy
All events on the NAWBO Columbus Public Calendar MUST be NAWBO sponsored events.  No exceptions

All events listed in NAWBO News & Events MUST be NAWBO sponsored events.  No exceptions

All events promoted under General Business News & Events MUST be sponsored by non-profit or government entities.

NAWBO will NOT post its members’ for-profit or commercial events as General News.  When in doubt, we will err on the side of not posting.

Members are encouraged to use the LinkedIn group and Twitter to promote events that are not eligible for NAWBO Columbus promotion.  However, members are asked to keep the content of these outlets relevant to the issues specifically of women business owners.  NAWBO Columbus reserves the right to remove users from our LinkedIn group who do not adhere to our content mission.
